Sarah Washburn

Owner/Founder

Sarah Washburn is the proud owner and founder of The Washburn Agency. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Endicott College, she has propelled the agency to be widely recognized as one of Boston’s top household staffing firms. Sarah brings a perspective shaped by experience on both sides of the placement process, through her firsthand work as a nanny and personal assistant, as well as through employing nannies for her own children. She is dedicated to supporting and advancing the household staffing industry, serving on the Board of Directors for the Association of Premier Nanny Agencies (APNA) and hosting International Nanny Training Day (iNNTD) Boston. Residing north of Boston, Sarah enjoys spending her free time exploring the world with her husband and two young sons.

 
Diana Belgiorno
Director of Operations

Diana’s passion for childcare has defined her impressive 19-year career, with 13 of those spent as a Nanny and Family Assistant. After earning a bachelor’s degree in English and Education from Salem State University, her career continued to grow in the world of private homes. For the past 8+ years, Diana has found a home at The Washburn Agency, where she blends her love for the industry with a talent for identifying ideal matches. Local to the Boston area, Diana finds balance in her weekly Zumba classes, frequent trips to Cookie Monstah, and treasured moments spent outdoors and with her family and life partner.


 
 
Brooke Weglarz
Director of Placements

Brooke brings over 20 years of experience in the private staffing industry, beginning her career as a professional Nanny/Family Assistant. With a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University, Brooke combines her deep understanding of family dynamics with a talent for helping families and candidates find their perfect match. Based in Nashville for over a decade, Brooke is very familiar with the local Nanny and staffing market and has built strong personal and professional connections throughout the community. She is also the founder of Nanny Counsel, through which she provides resources and support to nannies nationwide. Outside of work, Brooke is a proud dog mom to two adorable pups and enjoys cooking, kayaking, and photography.
 
Sandra Quints
Senior Placement Coordinator

With over a decade of experience as a professional career Nanny, Sandra developed a strong foundation in supporting families with care, structure, and compassion. She now applies that experience into her role as a Placement Coordinator, combining her passion for people with a love of systems and creative problem-solving. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Media, Society, and the Arts, Sandra brings a unique, well-rounded perspective to her work. Outside of the office, she’s rooted in a vibrant community in Nashville and finds joy in dancing, taking art classes, and being a beloved “auntie” to the many children in her life.
 
Kendra Turner
Reference Coordinator

A former Nanny agency owner herself, Kendra brings a passion for nurturing and a wealth of experience to her role as Reference Coordinator. With a bachelor’s degree in Early Education and 12 years teaching Pre-K to 8th grade, she has a deep understanding of child development and the critical role of finding the right fit for each family. Kendra is a devoted mother of two daughters, who keep her actively involved in their various activities, from choir to school events. She believes in giving back to her community andactively contributes to making a positive impact at her daughters’ school.
