We Were There: The Washburn Agency at the 2026 INA Annual Conference

Every year, the International Nanny Association brings together the best of this industry in one place. Nannies, newborn care specialists, agencies, educators, and advocates. People who have dedicated their careers to the families they serve and to raising the standard of what professional childcare looks like. This year, The Washburn Agency was proud to be in the room.

Sarah, Brooke, and Diana traveled to Denver for the 2026 INA Annual Conference, and we left reminded of exactly why we do this work.

Why We Show Up

Attending INA is not just a box we check. It is a reflection of how seriously we take this industry. We are an agency built by women who have worked on the other side of this business. We have been nannies. We have been caregivers. We know what it means to show up for a family day after day and pour yourself into that role. Going to INA is one of the ways we honor that.

It also keeps us sharp. The conversations happening at INA this year, around professional standards, compensation, career development, building community within the industry, and creating a more inclusive space for nannies of all backgrounds, are the conversations that shape how we do our jobs. We want to stay connected to that.

Our Table

We were on the vendor floor this year, and that mattered to us. Having a presence at INA means candidates can find us, talk to us face to face, and get a real sense of who we are. Not just a website. Not just an Instagram. A team of people who genuinely care about the professionals we represent.

If you stopped by our table, thank you. Those conversations are the highlight of the weekend for us. We also brought nanny shirts to give away, and they were quite the hit! It was one of our favorite moments of the conference, seeing so many incredible professionals proudly rep the role.

To the Nannies in The Room

The caliber of professionals at INA every year is something worth acknowledging. These are not people who fell into childcare. They are credentialed, experienced, deeply committed professionals who take their work seriously. Seeing that, being around that energy, it matters.

We see you. We respect what you do. And we are proud to be an agency that represents professionals at that level.

A Little Denver, Too

After conference concluded, the team made time to take in a little of what Denver has to offer, including a visit to Red Rocks Amphitheater. A good reminder that even a work trip can have its moments.

Here’s to another great year in this industry!
